LAUGH RIOT

In the fictional dystopia of Usonia, Thaddeus K. Gander has been the president for nearly forty years. His private military--the DOVE Corps--march the streets and protect the country from any threats to their regime. Gander is part of every facet to life from politics, news, business, sex, childrearing, and more. Everything is Gander. Then, one day, a strange little jester changes the world forever. This is the story of Merry Andrew.

History

Currently ongoing, Louis launched his first independent Kickstarter comic Laugh Riot. Planned to be an eight issue miniseries, the book's bold, kinetic art by Devlin Baker as well as Southard's political writings has led to the comic receiving attention in comic book and mainstream spaces. With each campaign, portions of the proceeds are donated to charities of Southard's choosing with organizations so far being Trans Lifeline, the Sameer Project, the Trevor Project, and Planned Parenthood.
